Pat RZL
Pat RZL is a rapper/songwriter who pushes boundaries in the music scene with her soulful music, lyrics, and influences. You can hear the west coast influence in her music as she navigates through the music industry as an independent artist Pat RZL gained recognition with a feature on Complex Media platform “Pigeons & Planes” a huge accomplishment for a young thriving artist.
In 2018 she released a EP that helped keep her buzz and momentum continuing with “For Now”. The EP is well put together it’s not hard to see why she continues to have impact along her journey. “Peace Ah Mine” and “Ring” are two singles off the EP that I feel set the tone for this project and definitely have her line buzzing.
In 2019 Pat RZL went on to release a full album titled “Verse or Two” where she doubles down on the profound topics she presents in her art on a record titled “Beam Me Up”. Where she talks about corruption and having money to fund wars but can’t feed the poor! The album starts off with a record called “Hurt Bae” where she says we should all stick together F*** the oppressor, Pat RZL doesn’t hold back on her perception and perspectives in the music.
Diving into her catalog you get a sense that Pat RZL isn’t you’re typical artist, she takes time with her craft relying relatable, and influential messages in her music you can almost say she’s a revolutionary at heart. In 2020 she releasd another full length album titled “Still Growing” that once again has her name buzzing in rooms she doesn’t even know about yet, but something tells me that’s going to change soon.
One of the records she released on her EP titled “Sit With Me” is called “crOWN” where she says “I can feel my crown getting heavy everyday, I can’t give up now baby I been on my way”
I would not be surprised if we see Pat RZL with a record deal soon. or at least partnered with a label so she can maintain her independence. either way I have no doubt this isn’t the last we will hear about Pat RZL.
