Teezy Fontaine is a dope artist coming out of Atlanta who I met at a event @ Brooklyn Tea last year. Fontaine is a very talented artist who is also a producer. When I saw Teezy perform in Atlanta I could tell that he takes his craft serious from the performance which was dope from the word play to the crowd control Teezy had it on lock. “Digital” is a record by Teezy Fontaine & HDQTRS listening to this record it gave me a futuristic vibe with some Outkast and both artist didn’t hold back. Creativity is something that’s been touched on lately and the music video is nothing less than that
A innovator is “a person who introduces new methods, ideas or products” and the way Teezy has created his own lane in the Atlanta music scene at this point kn his career he is just that. Some people make music for fun and there’s others who breath it, it’s safe to say that this guy is one of them ones. I asked Teezy knowing what you know now what advice would you give to young Teezy who just started the journey? And he said “ I would say stay true to who you are, and don’t allow outside noise to distract you from you’re goals”. The authenticity of being who you truly are regardless of the outside noise is a beautiful thing. In a world where it seems everyone is fake it’s refreshing to literally see authenticity stand out.
Surrounded by countless talented individuals In the Metro Atlanta area Teezy Fontaine always seems to think outside the box when it comes to his craft. I asked him what does he think sets him apart from his peers? And he said “What sets me apart from my peers, is my authenticity and nostalgic style”. When you take a look at the amazing catalog that he has, you definitely get nostalgia from the vibes he puts into his music like in the record “Tribe Vibes” or “Ridin Round”.

Teezy Fontaine released a few snippets on IG of some records I can only assume are dropping soon they sound like some good records. I have enjoyed watching the progression since I met Teezy and I believe something special is going to happen for this undeniablely talented artist on the rise. I asked Teezy what message does he want to give to his audience through his music? And he told me “The Message I would like to give to my audience is to protect you’re peace, choose happiness. Be yourself and be great”. The protecting you're peace is a must. Moving forward i hope to see more of the duo Teezy Fontaine has formed with HDQTRS I feel really brings out the best in his work, challenges his art, its the sport of it.
